This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for.
The grand reveal of The Dress 2014.
This is it:
It’s from Topshop and cost £24, but as I still had vouchers, it was free! I love a good freebie.
When choosing this year’s Dress, I had various difficulties. I work 5 days a week, so any dress has to be office appropriate, but it also has to be casual enough to wear at weekends. I also have the Rushby Belly (genetically proven) so any Dress would have to take this into account. So I was looking for a dressy casual belly-sympathetic dress. Easy, you’d think.
I tried so many on- ASOS returns department must love me- but in the end I happened on this one when I was on my lunch break buying my brother’s 18th birthday present; all he wanted was an Egyptian cotton bath sheet from M&S. Odd child. It was pouring with rain, and I just popped into Topshop to rearrange my coat (read: try to squash an Egyptian cotton bath sheet under my waterproof). I saw this, tried it on and the rest is history.
So this is what I’ll be wearing for all of March. 31 different outfits based on this Textured Seam Tunic. Crumbs.
Wish me luck.
